  I went to the Crooked Lake House a couple years ago and it was great. I went last year and ordered pot roast and it was so salty I could barely eat it. This year I went and had steak. The potatoes and broccoli were great and the steak was average. It is a nice atmosphere but so smoky. What is very upsetting is the waitress charged my debit card the price of the entire meal plus half again because she didn't know how to split the bill. I have called them three times to straighten this out and no one will call me back because they are "short staff" and the manager is going to NYC so I might hear back on Tuesday. So they have over $100 of my money for at least 7 days. Very very poor customer service. I will not return.
